The button
contains the equilibrium check and the global buckling factor. The following dialogue appears:
- The equilibrium check contains an overview of the applied horizontal a vertical loads and the consequential horizontal and vertical reaction forces for each load combination.
- The global buckling factor αcr is the factor by which the loads have to be multiplied in order to provoke global buckling of the structure. More info here.
Notes:
- The global buckling factor αcr is only available after a second order calculation.
- The global buckling factor αcr is independent of the standard and is not to be confused with buckling check of a single element.
- The minimal buckling factor αcr is given at the bottom of the window.
