Indicate for which combinations you want to verify the connection. By filtering them based on percentages in relation to the extreme values, you can take only the most decisive combinations for bending moments, normal forces or shear forces into account.
However, don’t set the percentage too high because you risk a wrong evaluation of the situation: if for example, you use a limit of 95%, the combinations for which each of the 3 values of M, N and V, reaches 90% will not be verified as they pose a potential non negligible risk whereas a combination with a value of M of 95% and the negligible values of N and V may not pose any risk. All the precautions in this matter are therefore to be respected.
After having selected the relevant combinations, confirm by pressing ‘OK’. You’ll be send back to the initial window. A ✓ indicates that the first step has been completed. However, nothing prevents you from going back if you wish to do so.
