If you double-click a line, the following dialogue appears:
From this dialogue, you can:
- see a visual representation of the bar accompanied with the point numbers at the ends
Note that around one point, a square
is drawn. - Length
Adjust the length or horizontal projected length. The point to which you double clicked the line the closest, will be surrounded by a square
. This point will stay in place while the other point moves. - Orientation
With the options “Angle with XZ plan” and “Hor. angle with X-axis” you can adjust the slope of the line in a 3D environment. - Section
Here you find the cross-section name assigned to this line. The button
gives direct access to cross-section properties. - Material
You can view and modify the material, covers (concrete) and the fabrication mode (steel). - Local axes
- Orientation angle
You can modify the orientation of the lines local axes so the cross-section is rotated around its longitudinal axis. - For variable sections, you can switch the assigned section 1 or 2 at the beginning and end point using the buttons
. - If you want to mirror the local axis y’ (strong axis) of the bar, click on
.
- Orientation angle
- At the bottom, you can also see which level the selected line belongs to.
This assignment is important if you use the Level Manager.
