To change the properties of a footing:
- either double-click one footing in the ‘Geometry’ configuration,
- either select one (or more) footing(s) and click
.
The following dialogue appears:
- Enter the name of the footing
- Dimensions
Impose the length, width and thickness - Mesh
Also impose the number of mesh divisions. Every division results in 4 mesh- triangles.

Indicate the concrete quality and gross covers - Local axes
Impose the orientation of the local coordinate system. By default, the local axis x’ is always parallel to the global axis X. - Eccentricity
It is possible to load a footing in an eccentric way. For example when the base of the column and the centre of gravity of the footing do not coincide.
