Rebar mat library

Diamonds contains a rebar mat library. This library can be used to apply a practical reinforcement in slabs or plates.
To open the material library:

• Go to the menu ‘Edit – Rebar mat library…‘. The following dialogue appears:

• On the left, there is a list of rebar mats already be defined.
  Select a particular mat from this list, and all its properties will show on the right. It is necessary to determine the bars and their distances from axis to axis for the two orthogonal directions. The cross-section available per linear meter is calculated automatically. Underneath, you also need to set the dimensions and weight of reinforcing rebar mat. Please note that the latter is not included in the calculation but is purely informative.
• You can modify the geometric characteristics of a mat at any time.
• You can also expand the library with rebar mats.
  • If you use the button , you insert a new mat just before the selected rebar mat.
  • If you use the button , the mat will be added at the end of the list. You can adjust the name of the new reinforcing mat in the field just above the list.
• If you want to delete a rebar mat, select it and click .
