Export to Strakon

Strakon allows you to define and detail reinforced concrete structures. In particular, you may use Strakon for drawing up outlines of practical reinforcements, for designing formworks and for generating reinforcement forms.
Clearly, you need to know the theoretical reinforcement quantities in advance. The programs that support the reinforcement calculation of concrete structures can therefore be interconnected with Strakon.
Thus, Diamonds also offers the possibility to export the theoretical cross-sections of reinforcement of slabs and walls in a text format. These cross-sections can then be read by Strakon and converted into practical reinforcement. The condition is, of course, that the structure is also modelled in Strakon.
Once the reinforcement is calculated in Diamonds, go to the menu ‘File – Export – Export to Strakon‘. The following dialogue appears

You either export all visible slabs and walls, or the elements selected in the model window only. Nevertheless, if you do not want to export all visible or selected slabs, deselect the slabs in question in the lower window. Diamonds will then group all slabs or walls that are located in the same plane and that adjoin each other.
