Import from Diamonds

To import a Diamonds file in Diamonds:

  • Go to the menu ‘File – Import – Import Diamonds‘.
    The following dialogue appears:
  • The load group ‘Self-weight’ will be imported in the existing load group ‘Self-weight’.
  • The load group ‘dead loads’ will be imported in the existing load group with the name ‘permanent loads’.
  • The load group ‘live loads F’ will be imported as a new load group with the name ‘live loads F’. All safety factors and combination factors are imported as well.
  • The load group ‘wind’ with 4 sub-load groups will be imported in the existing load group ‘wind’, including the 4 sub-load groups.
  • If you don’t want to import a certain load group, just uncheck it.
  • Click ‘OK’.
