To generate wind loads on a surface:
- Enter the terrain parameters
. - Select the surface(s) and click on

The selected surfaces don’t have to lie in the same plane.
If you select multiple surfaces, make sure their local coordinate system is orientated in the same direction: prefrably all local y’-axes directed outward.
BAD
for some plates the local y’-axis is directed inward, for other plates outward

all local y’-axes are directed inward.
The local y’-axis of the roof plate is directed inward. This might cause confusion when looking at the results since the local y’-axis of all other plate in the model will be directed upward. Therefor, we don’t recommend this one.

- You can generate up to 4 cases of wind at once. So check the cases you want.
- Select the load groups in which Diamonds should place the generated wind loads.
- Enter the internal cpi and external cpe pressure coefficients.
The internal wi, the external we and the net wind pressure wn are calculated automatically.
