To scale a (part of a) structure:
- Select the relevant elements.
- Click on
.
The following dialogue appears:
- Multiply geometry with factor
Enter the scale factor.
The length of bar elements and the length and width of surface elements will be multiplied with the scale factor. The dimensions of the cross-sections will not be affected by this function.
Neither will the loads. There is a similar function for scaling loads. - Reference point
Enter the coordinates of the reference point.
You can also indicate the reference point on the screen. Diamonds will then automatically copy-paste the coordinates of the indicated point into the dialogue.
