To project parts of a structure:
- Select the relevant elements.
- Click on
.
The following dialogue appears:
- Indicate on which plane you would like to project.
For example, in the dialog above all selected points will be projected on the plane X=0m - Options
- ‘Keep original structure’: the selection being projected will remain in the model.
- ‘Create connecting lines’: Diamonds will draw the connecting lines between the original and the projected structure.
- ‘Create connecting surfaces’: Diamonds will generate the connecting surfaces between the original and the projected structure.
This function is very useful to straighten inclined walls (e.g. after import of a dxf-file). A practical example can be found here.
