Printing the model window

You can print the contents of each working mode (“Geometry”, “Loads”, “Dimensioning” and “Graphs”) of the model window. For each working mode, the image of the window will be scaled to fit the paper as large as possible, while maintaining the proportions; if a window is zoomed in on a detail, only that detail will be printed.

To print the contents of the model window for the active work mode, select the menu command ‘File > Print window‘, click on the icon , or use the key combination Ctrl + P.

The “Print Setup” window will then appear on the screen.. Here you can select the printer you want to print on and change its settings by clicking on the “Properties…” button. The lower half of the screen contains paper settings (paper size, tray selection and orientation).

Before actually printing, you can always make sure that the result will meet your expectations by requesting a print preview. To obtain a print preview of the model window for the active working mode, select the menu command ‘File > Print Preview‘ or click on the icon on the toolbar.
