Release notes Diamonds 2024

• The following hot keys have have been added:
  • CTRL + W to close the Diamonds project, but not Diamonds itself.
  • Select the intersection point of two intersecting lines and hit DEL: the intersection point will be deleted, the lines now cross.
  • T opens the translation dialog in the load configuration.

Geometry

• Make the projection function remember the last direction you used.

*Note: to improve the speed of these actions, significant changes have been made to the group definitions. As a result, when you open a model made in Diamonds 2024 in Diamonds 2023, the rendering of the groups is not automatically made. Making it look like Diamonds 2023 has no group definition at all. However, the groups are still stored in the *.bsf, only the rendering is not make. In order to trigger a render, select the entire model and click on . Make sure the geometric tolerance is set to 1mm (= this is the lowest value possible) and select nothing from the checkboxes below. Hit ‘OK’ to run the model verification. The rendering should be fine now.

General

• When you leave Diamonds open without calculating, Codemeter will release the license after a certain amount of time. It’s annoying when you want to re-use Diamonds because you’ll need to reboot him in order to find a license again. With this work around, that should be resolved.
• Improvements in the saving procedure.

Results

• Results are deleted when you turn a level off in the level manager.
