When Diamonds is starting, a splash screen will show you its progress. If the splash screen is red, you have a valid license. If the splash screen is grey, you’re running Diamonds in a demo-version.
Once Diamonds is started, you can show the same splash screen by going to Help > License Info.
Red = valid license
Grey = demo version
In a demo version you can use all geometry functions, but the magnitude of the loads is fixed to 10 kN, kNm, kN/m, kN/m². Using a load magnitude of 10, you’ll be able to calculate the model. Allowing you to see all calculation possibilities of Diamonds. Non-calculation based features, like the report manager, will be limited as well.
A demo-version of Diamonds is often used (by third parties) to view the results of a certain model.
