PowerConnect has stopped working

The software PowerConnect gives an error message at start-up in Windows 10 ‘PowerConnect has stopped working‘.

Solution

Reinstall the CodeMeter software:

  1. Open the CodeMeter Control Center  (also via ‘Start’ > ‘All programs’ > ‘CodeMeter’)
  2. Menu ‘Process’ > ‘Stop CodeMeter Service’
  3. Uninstall CodeMeter Control Center via Control Panel
  4. Restart the computer
  5. Install CodeMeter again
  6. Start PowerConnect
