Error: Arithemetic operation resulted in an overflow at el_barComplete.TBarComplete.CalculateMomentInWebBeam (…)

When trying to calculate a shear connection in PowerConnect, you get the error:

Solution

  • Double click the beam and go to the tab page ‘Details‘.
  • Uncheck Upper cope and Lower cope.
