[Codemeter 7.60d or older]
- Open Windows Registry (Start > typ ‘regedit’)
- Go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\WIBU-SYSTEMS\CodeMeterCC
- If not present, create new DWORD (right mouse click), name it “AllowCmActDelete”.
- Double click the DWORD-file and set the value to 1. Close the DWord and save changes.
- Open the task manager (CTRL + ALT + DEL or right mouse click on the Windows bar) > tab page ‘Details’:
- End the task Buildsoft.Gateway.exe (if present)
- End the task Buildsoft.Gateway.Server.exe (if present)
- End the task Buildsoft.Server.exe (if present)
- End the task CmWebAdmin.exe (if present)
- End the task CodeMeterCC.exe
- End the task CmWebAdmin.exe
- Start Codemeter again (Start > All Programs > Codemeter Control Center)
The button ‘Remove’ is now enabled. Select the cloud-license and hit ‘Remove’.
- Open the task manager (CTRL + ALT + DEL or right mouse click on the Windows bar) > tab page ‘Services’:
- Find Gateway in the list > Start service.
- Find Gateway Server in the list > Start service.
Both Gateway and Gateway Server should have the status ‘Started’ now. If not, just start them again.
