Compression centres in beam-beam connection have not been suficiently aligned to enable analysis
Solution 1
- If the height difference between the sections is large, you can try adding a haunch.
- If the height difference between the section is small, a haunch can’t be used. By adding an ‘Ignore’ button, the calculations can continue.
Solution 2
Eurocode states that the compression centers should be aligned. If you activate the ignore button, you can walk around the message. But keep in mind that when you do this, you no longer calculate according to the Eurocode rules.
