Design of timber (12-Build)

With the button  you can design elements in timber.

• Using the first tab page ‘Cross-section library’, you can choose a cross-section from the library.
• Using the second tab page ‘Rectangular cross-section’, 1•2•Build will try to find the optimal section within defined limits for width and height. He will also take the imposed maximum (elastic!) defection into account.
  You must specify the timber quality and the modification factor k_mod.

You can deviate anytime from the proposal that 1•2•Build has made. You can, for example:

• Select the relevant bar(s).
• Restart the design by clicking on .
• Select a specific cross-section from the library or define a rectangular cross-section with fixed dimensions.
• Hit ‘OK’. 1•2•Build will perform the design again for the cross-section you’ve chosen.

Note: your choice of cross-sections will only be applied tot he bars you selected before starting the design! For all bars that were NOT selected, the previous cross-section choice will be maintained.

Met de knop  kan u elementen in hout dimensioneren.

• Via het eerste tabblad ‘Profielen uit de bibliotheek’, kan u gebruik een doorsnede kiezen uit de bibliotheek.
• Via het tweede tabblad ‘Rechthoekige secties’, zal 1•2•Build de optimale rechthoekige sectie te vinden binnen opgelegde grenzen voor breedte en hoogte. 1•2•Build houdt daarbij rekening met de gestelde doorbuigingseis.
  U moet de sterkteklasse voor het hout en de modificatie factor k_mod opleggen.

U kan op elk moment afwijken van het voorstel dat 1•2•Build doet. Om dat te doen, gaat u als volgt te werk:

• Selecteer de relevante staaf/ staven.
• Start de dimensionering opnieuw via de knop .
• Selecteer een specifieke doorsnede uit de bibliotheek of definieer een rechthoekige sectie met vaste afmetingen.
• Klik op ‘OK’. 1•2•Build zal de dimensionering opnieuw uitvoeren met het profiel naar uw keuze.

Opmerking: deze profielkeuze zal enkel worden toegepast voor die staven die u selecteerde voor het opstarten van de dimensionering! Voor alle staven die NIET werden geselecteerd, wordt de voorgaande profielkeuze behouden.

En utilisant le bouton  vous démarrez le dimensionnement en bois.

• À l’aide du premier onglet ‘Profilé de la bibliothèque’, vous pouvez choisir une section dans la bibliothèque.
• En utilisant le deuxième onglet ‘Section rectangulaire’, 1•2•Build essaiera de trouver la section optimale dans les limites définies pour la largeur et la hauteur. Il tiendra également compte de la défection maximale imposée.
• Vous devez spécifier la qualité du bois et le facteur de modification k_mod.

Vous pouvez aussi choisir une section. Pour ce faire :

• Sélectionnez-le(s) barres concernées.
• Redémarrez le dimensionnement avec le bouton .
• Sélectionnez une section spécifique dans la bibliothèque ou définissez une section rectangulaire avec des dimensions fixes.
• Cliquez sur ‘OK’. 1•2•Build refaites le dimensionnement avec le profil de votre choix.

Remarque : ce choix de profil ne s’appliquera qu’aux barres que vous avez sélectionnées avant de commencer le dimensionnement ! Pour tous les barres NON sélectionnées, le choix de profil précédent est conservé.
