Cause
There are 2 posible causes:
- Some load combinations only cause axial force, no bending moment. Then there is not reason the verify combined forces.
- Not all formula to do the steelcheck are lineair. Some have a limited reach.
For example the check for ‘Bending + Axial force’ in hollow sections requires a ratio n = NEd/NRd to be calculated (EN 1993-1-1 §6.2.9). If n > 100, no result for the check ‘Bending + Axial force’ will be found.
