The filter is use to determine which sections should be visible when you click on 
or go to the standard section using

For example: how do I make only the EU sections visible?
[Diamonds 2018 or newer]
- Go to Edit > Section library
- In the list ‘Groups’, select all EU sections you’d like to see.
- Click on
to save the changes. - Close Section library.
- Now only the selected EU sections will be visible in Section dialog ( and ).
Note: sections assigned to bars in the model will always be visible in Section dialog (and), regardless the filter settings.
[Diamonds 2017r0 until 2017r6]
- Not possible.
[Diamonds 2015r06 or older]
- Go to Edit > Section library
- In the column ‘Groups’, select all EU sections you’d like to see.
- Close Section library.
- Now only the selected EU sections will be visible in Section dialog (and).
Note: sections assigned to bars in the model will always be visible in Section dialog (and), regardless the filter settings.
