Fin plate connection can have more than 2 bolts columns. First thing you need to do is provide the space on the fin plate so that the bolted can be placed. Double clicking the fin plate and set the width larger enough, for example to 220 mm.
Now you see that there is possibility to place the bolts in this area. Double click the bolts to edit them. Here you can add bolts. Very important: if you just click ‘add bolt row’, another bolt row will be added. That is not the aim. Instead, you first need to select 1 bolt of the row where you want to add bolts and click add bolts. The extra bolt will be added to this row.
Repeat this for the other bolt rows.
