- During the installation of Diamonds, PowerConnect or BIM Expert, you get the error:
Solution
- Click ‘Ignore’.
The installation will continue. - You’ll get the error a second time. Click ‘Ignore’ again.
- The installation is now complete, but Diamonds/PowerConnect/BIM Expert won’t boot because there’s a component that’s not started. Let’s get that fixed:
- Open Task Manager ( CTRL + ALT + DEL).
Go to the tab page Services and click on ‘Open Services’.
- Find the service Gateway Server from the list > right mouse button > Start.
- A progress bar appears. The Status should be ‘Started’.
- Find the service Gateway from the list > right mouse button > Start.
If you the services is not starting, wait 5s and try again.
- Both Gateway and Gateway Server should be started now.
- Start Diamonds/ PowerConnect or BIM Expert.
