The ground level in Diamonds is used to
- calculate the wind loads when using the generator
- calculate the soil stresses when using soil layers
If you do not use any of the above, the value for the ground level is not important.
Note: the snow loads are not affected by the position of the ground level. The size of the snow loads depends on the high of the building in relation to the sea level.
