Problem in TDatabaseConnection.RunChangeQuery – Failed to update section database

When launching Diamonds 2015 or PowerConnect 2015, following error messages appears

Problem in TDatabaseConnection.RunChangeQuery …{ INSERT INTO  /  LambdaU /  HoleID / … } + Ok

Failed to execute database update …  {pad} + Ok

Section database update failed + Ok

Failed to update section database + Ok

Solution

There is a conflict on updating the database.

[Diamonds]

1. Close Diamonds
2. Go to My Documents > Diamonds > {latest version}
3. Did you add custom cross-sections to the library and you wish to keep them?
   1. Select the file User_Section_Library.mdb
   2. Make a copy of this file and paste it in the same directory
4. Delete User_Section_Library.mdb
5. Launch Diamonds again
6. If you want to access your custom cross-sections:
   1. Go to Edit > Section library
   2. Click Import and select the copied file

[PowerConnect]

1. Close PowerConnect
2. Go to My Documents > PowerConnect> {latest version}
3. Delete User_Section_Library.mdb
4. Launch PowerConnect again
