BIM Expert files can be exchanged locally or over network:
- On a local exchange, there is one user who sends files between the start application, BIM Expert and the destination platform. This requires the license ‘BIM Expert Local’. Clearly the user also disposes of a start and destination platform license, relevant for the intended workflow, e.g. Diamonds, Revit, Tekla Structures…
- On an exchange over network, there are multiple users who send files between the start application, BIM Expert Server (over network) and the destination platform
Each user requires a license ‘BIM Expert Server’ and relevant plug-in(s). Clearly the users also dispose of the relevant platform licenses.
