How to transfer beams from Diamonds to ConCrete Plus

What is ConCrete Plus?

The purpose of ConCrete Plus is to translate for beams only the theoretical reinforcement quanties (mm²) into a real reinforcement plan.

Transferring beams from Diamonds > ConCrete Plus

Single (continuous) beam

A single beam can be exported from Diamonds to ConCrete Plus in 2 ways: the Copy-Paste method or the method for multiple beams.

  1. The elastic analysis and reinforcement calculation in Diamonds are done
  2. Go to one of the reinforcement results for beams (Ay, Az, Awy or Awz)
  3. Select the beam to transfer
  4. Copy the beam (CTRL + C) or ‘Edit’ > Copy beam to ConCrete Plus
  5. Open ConCrete Plus
  6. Paste the beam (CTRL + V) or ‘Edit’ > Paste

Multiple beams

  1. The elastic analysis and reinforcement calculation in Diamonds are done
  2. Go to one of the reinforcement results for beams (Ay, Az, Awy or Awz)
  3. Select the beams to transfer
  4. ‘File’ > Export > Export to ConCrete Plus
  5. The file is saved in the *.pcp format
  6. Open ConCrete Plus
  7. Open the *.pcp file
