How to assign a section

Select the line(s).
For standard (mostly steel) sections (HEA, IPE, HD, W, …)
- Click.
- Select the desired section from the list.
- Click ‘OK’.
Notes:
- The properties (A, W_el,W_pl , I_y,I_z , …) can be viewed by click on .
- The assigned material can be changed here or using .
For all other sections
- Click .
- Select the desired shape. Enter the dimensions and material.
- Click ‘OK’.
