A point, will always result in a node in the mesh.

The number of nodes depends on the chosen mesh size.

|How to search for a certain point:||It is not possible to perform a search based on node number.
- Click on
- Go to the tab page ‘Mesh’.
- Check the option ‘Show node number’.
- Click ‘OK’.
- Adjust the size of the numbers here .
It is not possible to run a search-command based on the node numbers like it is possible for point numbers.
