What is the difference between a point and a node

A *point* refers to the intersection of two or more (geometry) lines..	A *mesh node* (‘node**‘ for short) refers to the intersection of two ore more mesh lines.
The frame below consists of 4 points. A point, will always result in a node in the mesh.	The same frame contains 19 nodes. The number of nodes depends on the chosen mesh size.
How to show the point numbers: Opt for a wireframe representation . Go to the mesh configuration . Click on and select the option Point number. Hit ‘OK’ to close the window. If necessary, change the font size and set symbol size to ‘0’ to increase the readability of the model.	How to show the node numbers: Opt for a wireframe representation . How to search for a certain point: Go to the menu Select > Point number. Enter the desired point number and hit OK. Diamonds will select the relevant point. Click on to only show the selection.	It is not possible to perform a search based on node number.
