Unable to find or set a suitable pixel format

Error message on opening Diamonds: Unable to find a suitable pixel format or Unable to set the pixel format.

Solution

1. Close Diamonds
2. Right click with mouse on desktop and click ‘Properties’
3. Go to page ‘Settings’ → ‘Advanced’
4. Go to page ‘Troubleshoot’
5. Move hardware acceleration to the left: about 50% or less
6. Try Diamonds again. If it still does not work, repeat 1-2-3 and move hardware acceleration more to the left. The optimal value depends on your graphic card.
