On playing with the network settings in PowerPlate, PowerFrame, 12Build or Concrete via the menu ‘Help > Network’, you might encounter following error:

Missing hardware key….  The connection with the server has broken. The maximum number of users or the version or the expire date is insufficient.

[NL]: Ontbrekende sleutel … De verbinding met de server is verbroken. Het maximum aantal gebruikers of vervalversie of vervaldatum is ontoereikend.

[FR]: Clef manquante … La connection avec le serveur est arrêtée. Le nombre maximal d’utilisateurs ou la version ou la date d’échéance est dépassé.

Solution

This system for network licenses is out of use since 2009.  You need to:

  1. Empty all fields
  2. Uncheck the ‘Searching for the hardware key in network’ option
  3. Click ‘Ok’ to leave the window
