How to check if port is open

To test if ports on server machine are open:
  1. Open Windows PowerShell (Click Start, type PowerShell, and then click Windows PowerShell).
  2. Typ tnc {ip_server} -Port {port_number}. If you’re using this article to test if there’s a network problem with your license dongle, use the IPv4 address and port 22350. That is the default communication port of Codemeter Control Center.
  3. Fix the failed checks by opening the ports.
Example: ports 501 are 502 open, 500 is not.
