Error configuration file machine.config

Error message on launching Diamonds ‘Configuration file C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\config\machine.config cannot be loaded due to exception System.IO.FileNotFoundException: The system cannot find the file specified. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070002)’

Solution

The machine.config file is probably not present

1. C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG
2. Copy the file machine.config.default  in the CONFIG directory.
3. Rename this file to machine.config
