When starting Diamonds, you get the following error:
This error is caused by a missing file in the installation folder. The file probably went missing after a scan by anti-virus software of cleaning software (like CCleaner).
It will also be impossible to uninstall Diamonds.
Solution 1 (fastest solution)
If you were using an older version of Diamonds, you could try to download/ install a newer version of Diamonds.
Make sure that when you do there’s a least one year difference in the version. For example: you’re having trouble with Diamonds 2024. If you download version 2025, that should do the trick. If you download version 2024r01, it probably won’t work.
Solution 2 (cleanest solution)
- Empty the installation folder of Diamonds.
C:\Program Files\BuildSoft\Diamonds *version you’re using*
If you’re having trouble with one version in particular, only empty the folder of that version. - Clean out the registry.
- Download and install Diamonds again.
