Cloud license is disconnected

In the CodeMeter Control Center, the cloud license shows as disconnected.

Solution 1

This solution requires administrator rights.

  1. Make sure you use Codemeter version 8.40d (or more recent).
    You can check the version, by running Codemeter. Next you go to Help > About.
    If you’re using an older version, you can download the most recent version of Codemeter here.

Solution 2

  • Go to Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features.
  • Make sure the list only contains one version of Codemeter Control Center.
    For example: the list below contains two versions of Codemeter Control Center. The oldest one should be removed.

Solution 3

  • This issue can also be cause by a firewall or proxy is blocking/interfering with the connection to the CmCloud container. Add the url https://eu-backend.wibu.cloud/52577 to the firewall/proxy allow list.
