This does not necessarily has to be the file server.<\/p>\n    \t\t<div class=\"hts-messages hts-messages--alert   hts-messages--withicon \" id=\"\" style=\"\">\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\tThe method below only works on a physical license server machine, not on a virtual server. For the license to work on a virutal server, the physical dongles need to be replaced with a cloud license. Contact the support desk for more information (support@buildsoft.eu).    \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-messages -->\r\n    \t\t\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.buildsoft.eu\/knowledge-base\/where-can-i-download-codemeter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Download<\/a> and install Codemeter Control Center (= program for the license management).<br \/>\nWhen installing Codemeter Control Center, make sure &#8220;Network Server&#8221; and &#8220;Remote access to WebAdmin&#8221; are checked.<br \/>\nYou need the first one the share the license with the client computers within the network. You need the second one so that client computers can view the details of the license (expiration date, no. of available licenses, who is using the license).<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-29820\" src=\"https:\/\/support.buildsoft.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/InstallCodemeter2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"426\" height=\"331\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Plug the CodeMeter dongle directly in the server. But the amount of computers on which you can run the software, depends on the number of licenses you have. For example: you have installed Diamonds on 3 computers, but only have 2 licenses. Then you can run Diamonds on 2 computers simultaneously.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Install\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/we.tl\/t-UmrbfYssH4\">CodeMeter Control Center<\/a>.<br \/>\nNote: The numbers of the license dongles plugged into the license server, will never be visible in the CodeMeter Control Center on the client&#8217;s side. For example: 192.0.1.66. Remove that line from the Server Search List. That won&#8217;t be possible when the network profile is set to &#8220;public&#8221;. Om de licenties te kunnen gebruiken op een virtuele server, moeten ze omgezet worden naar een cloud licentie. Maar het aantal computers waarop je onze software gelijktijdig kan gebruiken, is afhankelijk van het aantal licenties dat je hebt. Bijvoorbeeld: je hebt Diamonds ge\u00efnstalleerd op 3 computers, terwijl je maar 2 licenties hebt. Dan zal je in staat zijn om maar op 2 computers tegelijkertijd Diamonds te gebruiken.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Installeer\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/we.tl\/t-UmrbfYssH4\">CodeMeter Control Center<\/a>.<br \/>\nOpmerking: de nummers van de licentie dongles zullen nooit zichtbaar zijn in het Codemeter Control Center\u00a0(zoals in stap 4 hierboven) van het gebruikerscomputer. Mais le nombre d&#8217;ordinateurs sur lesquels vous pouvez utiliser nos logiciels simultan\u00e9ment d\u00e9pend du nombre de licences dont vous disposez. Par exemple : vous avez install\u00e9 Diamonds sur 3 ordinateurs, mais vous n&#8217;avez que 2 licences. Ensuite, vous pourrez utiliser Diamonds sur seulement 2 ordinateurs \u00e0 la fois.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Installez le <a href=\"https:\/\/we.tl\/t-UmrbfYssH4\">CodeMeter Control Center.<\/a><br \/>\nRemarque : Les num\u00e9ros de dongle de licence ne seront jamais visibles dans le Codemeter Control Center (comme \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9tape 4 ci-dessus) de l&#8217;ordinateur de l&#8217;utilisateur.
