So if you have an elastic analysis running in one project, and you start a second elastic analysis in another project, the first calculation gets cancelled.<\/p>\n<h2>Solution<\/h2>\n[use Diamonds 2021r01 or newer]\n<ul>\n<li>Close all Diamonds projects.<\/li>\n<li>Go to\u00a0<strong>My Documents &gt; Diamonds &gt; {latest version}<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Open the file\u00a0<strong>Diamonds.ini<\/strong>\u00a0with Notepad.<\/li>\n<li>Search (CTRL + F) for <strong>[TGENERALPREFERENCES_PREF]<\/strong>.<br \/>\nIf it is not present, add it at the bottom of the document.<\/li>\n<li>Add a line below stating\u00a0<strong>RESTARTCALCCORE=0<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Close the Notepad-file and save the changes.<\/li>\n<li>Restart Diamonds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Notes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If someday <a href=\"https:\/\/buildsoftsupport.com\/knowledge-base\/how-to-reset-the-diamonds-preferences\/\">you need to reset the Diamonds preferences<\/a>, this setting will also be reset.<\/li>\n<li>The desciption above is valid for when you want to change the setting on a user computer (which is the case 99,9%).<br \/>\nBut some newer systems allow multiple users to log into the same (virtual) super computer. In that case, the line should be added in the Diamonds.ini-file present in the installation folder.
