Isolated or lonely points are points that are not connected to any bar or plate. A good analysical model, does not contain isolated points.
\nIf you suspect your model to contain isolated points, you can use following method to find them:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Go to the menu Select<\/em> > Inclined surface >\u00a0Hide selection \"\"<\/em><\/li>\n
  2. Go to the menu\u00a0Select\u00a0<\/em>> Vertical surface<\/em> > Hide selection\u00a0\"\"<\/em><\/li>\n
  3. Go to the menu\u00a0Select\u00a0<\/em>> Horizontal surface<\/em> > Hide selection\u00a0\"\"<\/em><\/li>\n
  4. Go to the menu\u00a0Select\u00a0<\/em>> Inclined lines > Hide selection\u00a0\"\"<\/em><\/li>\n
  5. Go to the menu\u00a0Select\u00a0<\/em>> Vertical<\/em> lines > Hide selection\u00a0\"\"<\/em><\/li>\n
  6. Go to the menu\u00a0Select\u00a0<\/em>> Horizontal lines<\/em> > Hide selection\u00a0\"\"<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    What is left now, are isolated points. If you cannot see them right away:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Go to the Configuration settings \"\"> tab General<\/em> > uncheck the option Show hidden items greyed out<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Click on \"\"or press F12<\/kbd>.<\/li>\n
    • The isolated\u00a0points can also be seen in the Data table\u00a0\"\".<\/li>\n
    • Verify if the isolated points have a purpose (for example: a supported or point load is assigned to them):\n

      • If they don’t have a purpose, delete these points.<\/li>\n
