Verify if this value applies to your model. If not, make the necessary adjustments in <a href=\"https:\/\/support.buildsoft.eu\/docs\/diamonds\/libraries\/material-library\/\" data-type=\"docs\" data-id=\"16436\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the material library<\/a> and assign the new material to the relevant elements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Redo the elastic analysis (<kbd>F9<\/kbd> or\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"24\" height=\"26\" class=\"img_inline alignnone size-full wp-image-1546\" src=\"http:\/\/buildsoftsupport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/Calculate.png\" alt=\"\">) but take cracking into account.<br>Some cross-sections will be more cracked than others. This will lead to a redistribution of the internal forces. Which in turn can lead to a additional cracking.<br><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"580\" height=\"566\" src=\"https:\/\/support.buildsoft.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/ElastScheurdeStijfheid.png\" alt=\"\">\n<ul>\n<li>Check the option <em>&#8220;Compute deformations after creep<\/em>&#8220;.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the model contains walls or plates loaded with axial force, also check the option &#8220;<em>Extend cracking theory to axial forces&#8221;.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on&nbsp;<kbd>F2<\/kbd> or&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"23\" height=\"23\" class=\"img_inline alignnone wp-image-3859 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/buildsoftsupport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/ButtonReinforcement.jpg\" alt=\"\">&nbsp;to calculate the reinforcement. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeat steps 8-9 until the results (for example the internal forces) converge. This is usually already after 1-2 recalculations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manually verify the shear force in the plate.
