\r\n \t\t\t\t\tYou will need a virtual Windows environment (using Parallels, VM-ware, …) in order to run the BuildSoft software. \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t\r\n \t\t<\/div>\r\n \t\t\n

[Do this in the MAC environment]<\/h3>\n

  1. Install CodeMeter Control Center<\/a>.
    \nCodemeter Control Center takes care of the license management.<\/li>\n
  2. Go back to the e-mail you’ve received from us. The subject should be “Your free student license Diamonds – PowerConnect – BIM Expert – ConCrete – 12Build<\/em>“.
    \nStep 3<\/em> of that e-mail contains your license. Activate it as explained in Steps 4-6<\/em>.
    \nYes, it means you’ll have to double click the link in the MAC environment. If the double clicking doesn’t work, copy-paste the link in Safari. If your browser asks permission to connect to Codemeter, accept the request!\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Open CodeMeter Control Center. Select your educational license from the list (the name is usually Buildsoft Edu 12<\/em>) and click on the button ‘WebAdmin’.

  4. A web page opens. Go to \u2018Configuration > Server > Server Access<\/em>\u2019.

  5. Select ‘Enable<\/em>‘ at \u2018Run network server<\/em>\u2019 and click ‘Apply<\/em>‘.<\/strong>
    \nBy checking this option, you tell the MAC environment the license may be shared with the Windows environment.

  6. Restart your computer.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    [Do this in the virtualised Windows environment]<\/h3>\n

    1. Install CodeMeter Control Center<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    2. Install the desired Buildsoft software.<\/li>\n
    3. Restart the Virtual machine.<\/li>\n
    4. Start the Buildsoft software. Our software should start with a valid license.
      \nNote: althought the license activated in the MAC environment\u00a0is shared with the Windows\u00a0environment, you’ll never see the license appear in CodeMeter Control Center in the Windows environment. That is normal behaviour.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
