And creates a new *.bsf file from the current project. This is an efficient way to have a backup file. But it doesn&rsquo;t work well with SharePoint (or OneDrive).\u00a0One of the advantages of SharePoint is that it can\u00a0keep track of file history. But because of the default saving procedure in Diamonds, that&rsquo;s not possible as he keeps creating new files with every save.<\/p>\n<p>Therefor we&rsquo;ve added an additional saving procedure which is suitable for SharePoint.<\/p>\n<h2>Solution<\/h2>\n[compatible with Diamonds 2023r01 or newer]\n    \t\t<div class=\"hts-messages hts-messages--info   hts-messages--withicon \" id=\"\" style=\"\">\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\t\n<ul>\n<li>If you use SharePoint (\/ OneDrive), but you have no interest in the file-history feature, neglect the content of this article and leave everything on default.<\/li>\n<li>The new saving procedure&#8230;\n<ul>\n<li>is only available in Diamonds 2023 r01 (or newer), not in any other BuildSoft programs.<\/li>\n<li>may be slower than the default procedure.<\/li>\n<li>will\u00a0track the history of <a href=\"https:\/\/support.buildsoft.eu\/knowledge-base\/of-what-is-a-diamonds-files-composed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">all files related to a Diamonds project<\/a>, namely: *.bsf-file, *.bs!-file, *.bsr-file and *_bsr-folder.<br \/>\nThis migth cause extensive use of memory since the\u00a0*.bsr-file and *_bsr-folder can get big.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n    \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-messages -->\r\n    \t\t\n<ul>\n<li>Close all Diamonds projects<\/li>\n<li>Go to\u00a0<strong>My Documents &gt; Diamonds<\/strong>. Depending on your operating system, the name &lsquo;<strong>My Documents<\/strong>&lsquo; can be &lsquo;<strong>Documents<\/strong>&lsquo;.<\/li>\n<li>Open\u00a0<strong>Diamonds.ini<\/strong>\u00a0with Notepad.<\/li>\n<li>Search for\u00a0<strong>[TGENERALPREFERENCES_PREF]<\/strong>. If you cannot find it, go to the bottom of the document and add it.<\/li>\n<li>Add a line below it stating <strong>SAVEBYREWRITINGBSF=1<\/strong><b>.<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Close Diamonds.ini and save changes.<\/li>\n<li>Start Diamonds.
