The design is always done according to a standard.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Elastic analysis<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>For all materials the elastic analysis can be done if the mechanical material properties are known. Read <a href=\"http:\/\/buildsoftsupport.com\/knowledge-base\/how-to-add-a-new-material\/\">here <\/a>how to add a new material to the library.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Design<\/h2>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>The relevant design codes for aluminium (EC9), masonry (EC6) and composite steel-concrete (EC4) are not implemented. The internal forces obtained in Diamonds can be used to manually verify the cross sections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n    \t\t<div class=\"hts-messages hts-messages--danger  hts-messages--withtitle hts-messages--withicon \" id=\"\" style=\"\">\r\n    \t\t\t<span class=\"hts-messages__title\">Warning<\/span>    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\t\n<ul>\n<li>The design of stainless steel is supported in Diamonds 2022 or newer.<\/li>\n<li>It is not recommended to apply Eurocode 3 to an aluminium section.
