This is because the used formulas are not always linear.<\/li>\n<li>Optionally, optimize the cross-sections.<br \/>\nYou can use the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.buildsoft.eu\/docs\/diamonds\/steel-and-timber-verification\/optimization-strength-and-stability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Optimization-function<\/a> for this <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-17510\" src=\"https:\/\/support.buildsoft.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/KnopOptimalisatie.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"20\" height=\"20\" \/>, but it might take a few iterations (and thus time).<br \/>\nWe recommend that you change the cross-sections manually to one (or more) size(s) bigger\/smaller depending on the result you had then recalculating the model. Exspecially for experienced engineer, this works faster than the Optimization function.<\/li>\n<li>Don&rsquo;t forget to verify the stiffness!
