During the installation of Gateway you get the error:<\/p>\n

Solution<\/h2>\n

  1. Click \u00ab\u00a0Ingore\u00a0\u00bb to continue the installation. Let the installation run, don’t interrupt it.<\/li>\n
  2. The error will show up a second time. Click \u00ab\u00a0Ignore\u00a0\u00bb again.<\/li>\n
  3. Open the program Codemeter Control Center<\/em>. This is our license management system.\u00a0
    Check if the license \u00ab\u00a0Buildsoft Gateway\u00a0\u00bb is present.
    If not present, download it here<\/a>. Drag and drop the file in Codemeter Control Center.

  4. Once the installation is complete, open Task Manager (CTRL<\/kbd> +\u00a0\u00a0ALT<\/kbd> + \u00a0DEL<\/kbd> or right mouse click on the Windows bar) > tab page \u2018Services\u2019.
    Error 1920 means that the installer wasn’t able to start the services ‘Gateway’ and ‘Gateway Server’. So we’re going to start them manually using the steps below.<\/li>\n
  5. Find the service \u2018Gateway Service\u2019\n

    • Select the service.<\/li>\n
    • Click right mouse button and hit ‘Start’.

    • Find the service \u2018Gateway\u2019\n

      • Select the service.<\/li>\n
      • Click right mouse button and hit ‘Start’.
        If the services doesn’t start from the first time, try it again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Once Gateway and Gateway server are both started, you can start Diamonds, PowerConnect or BIM Expert.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
