There are no plans to expand this to surfaces.<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-accordion su-u-trim\"><div class=\"su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-default su-spoiler-icon-plus su-spoiler-closed\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\" data-anchor-in-url=\"no\"><div class=\"su-spoiler-title\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><span class=\"su-spoiler-icon\"><\/span>Does Diamonds verify buckling in a concrete column in case of fire?<\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\"> No.<\/p>\n<p>EN 1992-1-2 does not state that buckling in case of fire must be checked similar to a cold state but with reduced properties. So it is not implemented in Diamonds.<\/p>\n<p>EN 1992-1-2:ANB 2021 \u00a75.3.2 provides a table for the design of columns in case of fire. The table contains minimum dimensions and centre distances. EN 1992-1-2:2004 \u00a75.3.2 (3) states that this method takes second-order effects into account.<\/p>\n<p>EN 1992-1-2:2004 Annex C also deals with buckling in columns. NBN EN 1992-1-2:2004\/A1:2019 is an amendment to this.<\/p>\n<p>Annex C again contains tables with minimum dimensions and reinforcement spacings.
