Because it creates a safety net: if 1\/3 tests fail for sone reason or if you suspect that the measurement was incorrect, you still have the other 2 tests to fall back on. Of those 2 tests, you take the mean values and merge it into one soil layer profile which you define in Diamonds.<\/p>\n<p>So having multiple soil layer profiles for a small property (like a house) is not meaningful.
