  • Close all\u00a0Diamonds\/ PowerConnect\/ BIM Expert projects.<\/li>\n
  • Open Task Manager (\u00a0CTRL<\/kbd>\u00a0+\u00a0\u00a0ALT<\/kbd>\u00a0+ \u00a0DEL<\/kbd>\u00a0or right mouse click on the Windows bar).<\/li>\n
  • Click on ‘More details’.\"\"<\/li>\n
  • Go to the tabpage ‘Services’.\u00a0Sort the list alphabetically by clicking on the column Name.\"\"

  • Find the service Gateway<\/em><\/strong>. The Status<\/em> should be Started<\/em>. If not: click with right mouse button > Start<\/em>.

    When you try to start the service, you get the error:

    Find the service ‘SQL Server (SQLEXPRESS14 or SQLEXPRESS14BS)’\u00a0> right mouse button > \u2018Properties\u2019. Set the Start-up type to ‘Automatic’. Click ‘OK’ to close the window.

    • In the Task manager > tab page ‘Services’ (= the first printscreen), SQL Server is referred to as ‘MSSQL\u00a7SQLEXPRESS14’. In the window ‘Services’ (= the second print screen) it’s referred to as ‘SQL Server (SQL EXPRESS14)’.<\/li>\n
    • In the Task manager > tab page ‘Services’, you’ll also find a service called SQL Agent (SQLAgent\u00a7SQLEXPRESS14 or SQLAgent\u00a7SQLEXPRESS14BS). These services are not used by BuildSoft software and may not be confused with ‘MSSQL\u00a7SQLEXPRESS14’ or ‘MSSQL\u00a7SQLEXPRESS14BS’. \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n \t\t\t \t\t\t\r\n \t\t<\/div>\r\n \t\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Find ‘BuildSoft.Gateway.exe’ > right mouse button > \u2018End task\u2019.<\/li>\n
        • Find ‘BuildSoft.Gateway.Server.exe’ > right mouse button > \u2018End task\u2019.<\/li>\n
        • BuildSoft.Gateway.exe\u00a0 AND\u00a0 BuildSoft.Gateway.Server.exe shouldn’t be in the list anymore.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
