Just replace 'Diamonds' in the text below with 'PowerConnect'. <\/span>    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-messages -->\r\n    \t\t\n<ol>\n<li>Get a computer with\u00a0<strong>a Windows operating system<\/strong>.<br \/>\nMAC users must install a virtual machine (like Parallels or VM Ware) for Windows. In step 4, run the Diamonds installer (*.exe) in the virtualized Windows environment!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prevent your anti-virus from blocking<\/strong> the download\/installation.\n<ul>\n<li>Turn off BitDefender, KasperSky, Avast, McAfee, BullGuard until the installation is complete.<br \/>\nIn some cases it was required to uninstall BullGuard completely before Diamonds was able to install. You may reinstall BullGuard again when the Diamonds installation is complete.<\/li>\n<li>Norton 360 causes difficulties during the installation of Gateway and the use of Diamonds.<br \/>\nBefore installing our software, we recommend uninstall Norting and reinstalling it again once our software is installed.<br \/>\nIf you experience trouble during the use of our software and Norton, we recommend turning off the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.norton.com\/sp\/en\/us\/home\/current\/solutions\/v130571264\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Data Protector of Norton<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Download the Diamonds installer (*.exe) from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.buildsoft.eu\/en\/downloadtrial\">our website<\/a>.<br \/>\nRegistration and log-in are required.<\/li>\n<li>Run the\u00a0Diamonds installer (*.exe).<br \/>\nFollow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation of all the required components.<br \/>\nAn overview of all the components to be installed (if not present yet):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CodeMeter Control Center is the license manager. It will ensure the communication between our software and your license.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/buildsoftsupport.com\/knowledge-base\/what-is-gateway\/\">Gateway<\/a>\u00a0is the database manager.
