Starting from Diamonds, you want to calculate a connection using PowerConnect. At the moment the connection enters PowerConnect, you get the error:<\/p>\n

Cause: this error is caused by a bug in Diamonds 2024.<\/p>\n

Solution 1 [recommended]<\/h2>\n

Use Diamonds 2024r01 or newer.<\/p>\n

Solution 2 [temporary solution]<\/h2>\n

If you don’t need the feature often, you could try this.<\/p>\n

  • Have your model calculated in Diamonds. Don’t sent the connection to PowerConnect yet.<\/li>\n
  • Go to My Documents > PowerConnect<\/strong>. Depending on your operating system, the name ‘My Documents<\/strong>‘ can be ‘Documents<\/strong>‘.\"\"<\/li>\n
  • Change the name of the folder ‘PowerConnect’ to something else, ‘PowerConnect2’ for example.<\/li>\n
  • Open Task Manager (\u00a0CTRL<\/kbd>\u00a0+\u00a0\u00a0ALT<\/kbd>\u00a0+ \u00a0DEL<\/kbd>\u00a0or right mouse click on the Windows bar). Click on ‘More details’.\"\"<\/li>\n
  • Go to the tabpage ‘Services’.<\/li>\n
  • Find the service ‘Gateway’\u00a0> right mouse button > \u2018Stop\u2019.
    \nFind the service ‘Gateway Server’\u00a0> right mouse button > \u2018Stop\u2019.<\/li>\n
  • Select the connection and send it to PowerConnect as you normally would do. Once PowerConnect wants to launch, you’ll see the following:
