Error: Smart App Control has blocked an app that may be unsafe

When starting Diamonds, PowerConnect or BIMExpert on Windows 11, you get the following error:

NL: Smart App Control heeft een app geblokkeerd die mogelijk onveilig is

FR: Le Contrôle intelligent des applications a bloqué cette application

Solution

This error only occurs on computers with the fresh, clean installation of Windows 11. You don’t get this error when you upgrade Windows 10 to Windows 11.

At the moment, we haven’t found the option to include a whitelist of safe programs in Smart App Control. So the only thing you can do, is turn off Smart App Control:
