Eventhough it was working fine 5min before.

This issue particulary occurs on Windows 11.

Solution

When you select Diamonds again, it will ask Windows for the print properties… But Windows 11 determines the preferred printer automatically. And when that automatic process takes too long, Diamonds will refuse to work.

The solution is to change the default printer to a local printer.

He is disabled and it is impossible to close him. You see something similar to this. This issue occurs suddenly: yesterday it worked fine, today it doesn’t.

Solution

This issue is caused by anti-virus programs Avast and AVG who think Diamonds is a threat.

You could try to add exclusion for the following *.exe’s In Avast/ AVG. Unfortunately we don’t have confirmation this solves the issue. As far was we know, clients always had to uninstall Avast/ AVG to get it fixed.

[Diamonds 2023r01 or older]
